This group email service allows historic preservationists throughout Oregon to communicate directly with one another. Appropriate messages include the following: --Announcements about preservation issues or events. --Questions about a preservation problem or issue you are facing. --Responses to others questions. --Notification of deadlines for various programs (grants, National Register nominations, etc.). --Anything else you feel would be of interest or value to your preservation colleagues throughout the state. Since this is an open mailing list, all messages will be sent to everyone, unfiltered. Replies, however, will be sent only to the sender. If you wish to reply to the entire list (which we encourage), send your reply to the list address: Hist_Pres@listsmart.osl.state.or.us Please be courteous in all your messages and responses, and please avoid personal communications. Subscribing to Hist_Pres
Subscribe to Hist_Pres by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
