Do you have an example I could look at? A few things to remember when
doing deletes which involve multiple tables:
* You have relationships defined between related tables in your
Microsoft Access database
* You have enforced the Referential Integrity for the
relationships between your chosen tables.
* You have opted to Cascade Delete Related Records for the
relationship type

Subject: [Accessusergroup] Delete Query Filtered on Select Query
Importance: High
Please Help!
Does anyone know how to build a Delete Query filtered by the results of
a select query? I ran a find unmatched query. I want to use the results
of that query to delete all of the unmatched records. I just can't
figure it out. I tried to turn the "Find Unmatched" Select Query into a
Delete Query and that did not work. (Access keeps asking me from what
tale do I want to delete the records). So, I tried some other ways. No
matter what I try, I keep running in to one of two different error
messages-- depending on how I set up the Delete Query. First, I build
the query and only include the table from which I want to delete the
records. Then I write the name of the previous query in the "Criteria"
row. For some reason, Access won't do this and it prompts me to input
the value. Then, I include both the table where I want to delete records
and the query in the new Delete Query. When I do this, Access keeps
telling me to tell it what table to delete the records when the table is
sitting right there in the "Table" row!
How does this work? Please, Help!
