Subject: There is still time to apply to the DELTA 2018-19 cohorts

One week left!

Applications for the next DELTA cohorts are closing soon!

The Developing Equity Leadership through Training & Action (DELTA) program  is currently recruiting for our next TWO cohorts. Now in its fifth year, DELTA is a comprehensive health equity and inclusion program that provides training, networking and capacity building to health and community leaders throughout Oregon. Travel reimbursement, CCCE and CMEs may be available. Find out more from our informational webinar recorded on August 15th.

The DELTA program includes:

  • Approximately 40 hours total of classroom training and technical assistance around developing, improving, complying with and institutionalizing health equity policies and practices;
  • Building health-equity resources and cross-sector networking among organizations;
  • Addressing macro- & micro-barriers to care;
  • Each participant responsible for a project that drives and institutionalizes equity and inclusion within their organizations and the communities they serve;
  • Inspiring leaders to act individually, strategically and collectively as proactive change agents.

Who will be accepted?

Between 20 to 25 individuals from a variety of health systems and community organizations throughout Oregon will be selected for each cohort.

When do we meet?

Participants will meet for one or two full days per month from October 2018 through May 2019 at various locations while working on health equity-related projects to bring back to their respective organizations. Participants in the behavioral health-specific pilot cohort will meet from January 2019 - May 2019.

To Apply:

  • Apply by clicking the relevant link and completing the questions. There are two application options:

Statewide, multi-disciplinary cohort or Behavioral Health pilot cohort.

The statewide, multidisciplinary cohort applications will close September 14th. The Behavioral Health cohort applications will close November 2nd. Not sure which is the best fit for you?  Check out the DELTA website for more details.

  • Attach your current résumé to that application.

"Impact is invaluable -- especially in rural communities.  Had it not been for DELTA and the funding of DELTA program.  In that respect it was invaluable for us because it allowed to bring back all this expertise for strategic planning and policies." - former participant

Please note: We are still seeking sponsoring partners to help underwrite one of the cohorts and keep the DELTA program running.
We look forward to receiving your application!
