[Answerland] Patron looking for statistics on abortion

Good morning Answerlanders,

A fellow librarian is looking for our help!

"I have a patron who is interested in any statistics regarding the percentage of pregnancies that ended in miscarriage or septic pregnancy before abortion was legalized vs. after. The question he's trying to answer is if there's evidence that legalizing abortion possibly did not increase the number of abortions. I'm not sure if the data exists to definitively answer this question, though."
