[Answerland] Patron needs help with book title

Hello Answerlanders,

A patron is looking for help:

" i am trying to locate a book I read ... I don't remember the character names or author. been trying to find this book for years. borrowed it from the Multnomah county library by Jefferson high school back in like '03 and all I remember is part of the plot. I think it was too adult for me at the time and I didn't finish it. all I remember is the main male character got captured and out in some kind of dimentional prison. the main female character was some kind of general leading armies and she would dream about him by a fountain, then she ended up pregnant and realized that she was meeting him for real. lmao, I neeeeeed to find it! sci fi, published before '03
