The Government Information Online (GIO) Virtual Reference Service, coordinated by the GODORT Education Committee, is a partnership with GPO to handle reference questions that are received through AskGPO. The service also allows users to submit questions directly and includes a helpful FAQ for commonly asked reference questions. GIO covers all types of government

information: federal, state, local, and international. The service is staffed by 17 volunteer government information librarians who roll up their sleeves and answer some tough questions!
