See below, FYI. Main points: they are still working on enhancements to the updated interface, and don't plan to disable the old one until late March. Let me know if you have questions.

Subject: [QUESTIONPOINT-L] Update on QuestionPoint access via Flash software platform

Thank you for the tremendous response to our request for feedback on QuestionPoint’s redesigned librarian chat interface. Your contributions helped us confirm the interface changes we want to have in place before we disable access to the Flash software platform.

In response to your comments, the following enhancements and fixes are planned:

  *   Sorting tables
  * Ability to expand the size of the chat window
  * Faster loading of librarian table
  * Fixes to highlighting text and the jumpiness of the chat monitor.

We’re continuing to assess several other possible changes and will share an update on the final list of additional enhancements once they have been confirmed.

When will Flash go away?
Our current plan is to disable use of the Flash interface no sooner than late March. This gives us time to implement the changes listed above.

We’ll provide an update with the exact date for the end of access to the Flash software platform once testing of all functionality is complete.
