Update from OCLC:

We're wrapping up some final developments for the redesigned QuestionPoint user experience and focusing on internal testing now.  Once this is complete, our documentation and training teams will complete the addition of updated screens to their updated support resources.  We'll announce availability of the new training and documentation resources to the community just as soon as they are complete.

Here's the latest news on plans to release the redesigned QuestionPoint chat monitor.  Early next year, you will see a new look for the chat monitor interface that will also move QuestionPoint off the Flash software platform.

We're completing final testing of the user experience and performance now.  This thorough testing will verify that the changes are ready for use by the entire QuestionPoint community.

Thank you to the members of OCLC's 24/7 reference team and volunteers from the community who have assisted us with this testing!

You can see the redesigned interface before its release:

  *   In mid-January: Review updated training and documentation resources on the QuestionPoint support site<https://www.oclc.org/support/services/questionpoint.en.html/>.  We'll let you know as soon as they are available.
  *   In late January/early February: Take advantage of pre-release access to the new interface. The current and redesigned interfaces will operate in parallel for at least two weeks before access to the current version ends. During this time, you can test drive the new interface and provide feedback on your experience via a brief survey.
Following your interface preview, we will retire the current Flash interface.

We'll share updates regularly as exact dates are confirmed for availability of updated support resources and your pre-release access to the new interface.

Thanks again for partnering with us on QuestionPoint enhancements. The upcoming enhancement was driven by feedback about future QuestionPoint enhancements in a late 2017 survey of the QuestionPoint community.
