Hello Answerlanders,

A patron is looking for help:

"I have copies from a book, and I'm hoping you can help me find the actual book. I checked it out through the Chemeketa system several years ago, but I haven't been able to track it down since then." Other details from the chat:

* page 343 contains a section about South Africa from 1814-1910

* page 362 contains a section called "Scramble for Africa 1880-1912"

* page 33 contains a section about Southeast Asia 1800-1913

* Page 299 was about India being colonized by the British

* The theme of the book was history of the world. I would describe it as imperial history of the world that follows timelines. I think the timeline went from 10,000 BC to the 20th century. It could have been considered an atlas? Every page is on a timeline. It is divided by region within time periods.

* It was an oversized book. It would have been 400 or so pages. I think the cover might have been black, and it had a lot of maps. Many of the maps were in color and featured how colonization impacted each major region

* It was NOT a textbook. It was not in reference, since it could be checked out.

* It's not Timelines of History by DK, Nat Geo Atlas of the World, or Ways of the World: A Brief Global History with Sources
