[Assessment_Advisory_Committee] Feedback requested on Draft Accessibility Crosswalk

Thank you all for the engaging discussion today on transitioning to Smarter's accessibility policies. As promised, I've attached the Accessibility Crosswalk, updated to reflect your requested changes.


In addition, here is a link to the Smarter Usability, Accessibility, and Accommodations Guidelines that Smarter published back in September:

It is ODE's plan to publish this crosswalk along with the FAQ that Smarter is developing as soon as the FAQ is finalized (anticipated for mid-November). By next Friday, 11/8, we request your feedback on the crosswalk specifically, as well as any additional communication tools that would be helpful to start informing the field of upcoming changes. Some ideas that were captured during today's discussion included providing a training for SpEd department staff and reviewing Oregon's terminology to align with Smarter's moving forward (2014-15 and beyond). Please submit any feedback to Holly Carter (holly.carter at state.or.us<mailto:holly.carter at state.or.us>) by 11/8.
