[Birthcenter] Birthing Center Rule Advisory Committee

This e-mail is to provide information to all licensed birthing centers about the Birthing Center Rule Advisory Committee. Licensed birthing centers have been included on an interested persons list that will receive copies of meeting notices, meeting minutes and other RAC material.


  *   The next meeting of the Birthing Center RAC is September 4th at 9:00 a.m.
  *   The agenda along with the July 17th meeting notes are attached for your information. No changes have occurred to the proposed rules or tables at this time and the RAC will continue to work from the initially proposed rule set (also attached.) Action items are being tracked and work is being done to consider possible changes. Responses to the action items will be shared at a future meeting.
  *   Pursuant to OHA policy, RAC meetings are open to the public, but are not subject to public meetings laws. Members of the public may attend, but may not participate.
  *   Future public comment, either oral or written, will take place at a public hearing after the RAC has completed its work and OHA has filed proposed rules with the Secretary of State's office for public comment. If you know of public members interested in commenting at the public hearing or in writing, please have them contact Mellony Bernal at mellony.c.bernal at state.or.us<mailto:mellony.c.bernal at state.or.us> to get on our interested parties list to be notified about details of the process.
