RE: Notice of Proposed Rulemaking for OAR chapter 333, divisions 505, 510, 520 – "Hospital Organization and Management, Patient Care and Nursing Services, and General Services"

The Oregon Health Authority (Authority), Public Health Division is proposing to permanently amend rules in chapter 333, divisions 505, 510 and 520. Administrative rules have been amended to align with statutory changes from the 2017 legislative
session, remove duplicative posting notice requirements and provide clarification on medical record retention requirements. The rules address hospital admitting privileges for physician assistants, newborn hearing screening requirements, and the administration
of Vitamin K.
You are being invited to review these proposed rules and to comment on them.
If you wish to present oral testimony, a public hearing will be held in Portland, Oregon at 800 NE Oregon St, Room 1E, on April 26, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.
You may also file written comments before 5:00 p.m. on April 26, 2018
