[Boli_rules] BOLI Rulemaking Notice

On July 23, 2020, the Bureau of Labor and Industries filed, with the Oregon Secretary of State, a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking Hearing related to:

*       OAR 839-009-0230 - OFLA: Purposes for Taking Leave

o   The agency proposes making permanent the temporary rule permitting an eligible employee to use sick child leave if their child's school or place of care has been closed in conjunction with a statewide public health emergency declared by a public health official.

We have scheduled a public hearing on August 19th at 9:00 a.m.  to receive input on the proposed administrative rule.
A copy of the Notice of Hearing and proposed rule is enclosed.
