Oregon SIS Consortium Finalizes Contract with Edupoint
The Oregon Student Information System (OSIS) Consortium contract for a new student information system was finalized with Edupoint on February 17, 2012. Salem-Keizer School District will execute the Master Agreement. For information on how to participate in the contract, access to an information packet from Edupoint, and clarification on next steps, visit http://www.oregonsis.org/.

The selection process for a common SIS has been a truly collaborative effort, with participation from over 350 support and school office staff, and over 950 instructional staff from districts and ESDs throughout Oregon. The OSIS Consortium released a Request for Proposal in early July which resulted in proposal submissions by eight SIS vendors. The evaluation teams worked all summer to narrow the field of vendors down to three finalists. In November, the OSIS Consortium announced the intent to award to Edupoint. To learn more about the Edupoint Synergy system, visit http://www.edupoint.com/ABOUTUS/IntroducingSynergy.aspx.

The OSIS Consortium Steering Committee would like to thank all who participated in this effort. Special recognition goes to LaVon Maskell, Salem-Keizer Purchasing Coordinator, for her expert procurement leadership throughout the process.
