Greetings,

Thank you to all the districts that have submitted and verified the IDEA Excess Cost Calculation 10-11. This is just a friendly reminder that the collection closes on Monday, March 12, 2012 and for the first time will be submitted via Consolidated Collections - Institution Collections on the ODE District website.

Over the past couple of weeks, there has been some confusion regarding what must be submitted. I want to take this opportunity to reiterate that the only information required is information from the “4. ODE Final Submission” tab of the Excess Cost template. There is no need to complete the “5. Verification” tab or to submit anything to ODE via mail.

Once you have successfully submitted two records (one for elementary and one for secondary), please don’t forget to “verify” the collection in status tracking so that I know you have finished.
