[Busmgrs] May 2015 Warrants

Dear Business Managers,

The May 2015 Warrants have been posted on our website. The district warrants are here: http://www.ode.state.or.us/services/ssf/district-may-warrants-5-14-15.pdf. The ESD warrants are here: http://www.ode.state.or.us/services/ssf/esd-may-warrants-5-14-15.pdf. These warrants should contain all of the information for the May reconciliation. The funding for the May payment should be in your accounts by the end of the week.

As many of you are aware, the May economic forecast was released today. According to the forecast there is more revenue coming into the state's general fund than was forecasted back in February. Thus, under the State School Fund Budget Bill (HB 5017) 40% of that additional funding will be sent to the State School Fund.

ODE will be sending out new 2015-16 estimates early next week. We are still working with the Legislature to determine the exact amount of additional funding that will be coming to the State school Fund for estimate purposes. Once we have the numbers confirmed we will be putting out estimates.
