Good afternoon,

If you have already submitted your lead testing invoices to the Department Education (ODE) there is no need to read any further. Thank you. We will be sending out additional guidance in the near future.

If you have not submitted your invoices to ODE, please contact us immediately by e-mail with your intentions to participate in the program. If we do not hear from you by noon December 8, 2016, we will assume you are not interested in the program and your district will be removed from the list. It would also be very helpful if you would send us a note if you don't plan to participate.

As well, I apologize for the short timeline, but we are trying to estimate how much money will be needed to fund this program and we need to have the total calculated by Thursday evening. This information will then be used in a report to the Legislature Friday morning  and used to determine how much they will need to appropriate.  Thank you in advance for your help with this very important work.

When responding with your information, we will at least need to know the number of lead tests in your school district (eligible criteria sent in a previous communication), the average cost per test, and any additional costs associated with the testing. Actual invoices can be sent at a later date, as we understand there is a backlog of processing at the testing facilities.

At present, we have 97 school districts that have responded, which represent about 66% of the state's Average Daily Membership (ADM). So, there are still a lot of districts that have not reported. At this time the following 101 school districts have not reported to ODE:
