[Busmgrs] 19-20 Estimate

Good Afternoon,

Hope you all had a great sunny weekend. Can you believe we are looking at the 2019-2020 state school fund?! Per ORS 327.061 the department is required to provide the State with estimates no later than the first Monday in March for the following year distributions. I have reviewed all the data but 394 eyes are better than my two so please review and let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Keep in mind this is very early in the legislative process and there are still many data elements to update which may change these estimates.

This estimate is based off the Governors recommended budget of $8.9 Billion with a 49/51 split. Other items to note are the Educator Advancement Fund (formerly network of quality teaching and learning) amount has changed and the facility grant has decreased.  You will see all assumptions for this estimate on the cover page which can be accessed on the ODE website.
