[CAFR-Contacts] Updated Statewide Balancing Reports

CAFR Accountants,
  
The web-based set of statewide balancing reports has been updated with data
as of January 30, 2004.  Please use these reports to monitor your agency's
records and work with other agencies to correct any transactions that are
out of balance at the statewide level.  For fiscal year 2004, the GASB 38
number will not be added to these reports because the number was not in use
during the first two months of the year (July and August).  A full year of
data is needed in order to match up the transactions using the GASB 38
number; thus, the G38 number will not be added to the reports until FY 2005.

The reports include the following:
  
Advances To/From Other Funds, sorted by GL account 0950 or 1800
Due To/From Other Funds, sorted by GL account 0586 or 1532
Indirect Transfers
Lottery Transfers
Operating Transfers
Interagency Transfers - sorted by transfers in and transfers out

There are two reports for each report type, except for the Lottery transfers
report.  The first report shows all balances for an agency, while the second
report shows totals only for those items out of balance (an exception
report).

This will bring you to a menu where you may select the report you wish to
view.  To move within the report, you have several links on each page:
First takes you to the first page of the report from anywhere in the report;
Previous takes you to the previous page in the report; Next takes you to the
next page in the report; Last takes you to the last page of the report from
anywhere in the report; Home will take you back to the report menu; Top of
Page will take you to the top of the page you are on. 
  
The agency number is near the upper left-hand corner of the report.  You
will have to scroll through the pages of the report to get to your agency.
