Hello CAFR Accountants,

The Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (SEFA) fiscal year 2010
queries have been added to the Repository. Three queries were posted and
their titles and descriptions are as follows:

SEFA Reports 2010: This query shows the amounts recorded for Federal
Funds. Agencies use this report to review the amounts recorded on SFMA
in a format similar to what is reported for the SEFA. Agencies are
responsible for the final amounts reported on the SEFA. This data model
is only a tool to review information and is not final until agency
certification of the amounts. In addition, this query contains reports
that show additional detail as compared to the other two SEFA queries.

SEFA Reports 2010 Express: This query shows the amounts recorded for
Federal Funds. Agencies use this report to review the amounts recorded
on SFMA in a format similar to what is reported for the SEFA. Agencies
are responsible for the final amounts reported on the SEFA. This data
model is only a tool to review information and is not final until agency
certification of the amounts. In addition, this query is streamlined to
run more efficiently and is recommended for larger agencies.

SEFA Reports 2010 Express YE: This query shows amounts recorded for
Federal Funds. Agencies use this report to review amounts recorded on
SFMA in a format similar to what is reported for the SEFA. The YE report
should only be used during Month 13. This report runs off the 'YE GL
Detail' Table, which is not updated until Month 13. This table retrieves
updated data three times a week during Month 13 - new data becomes
available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Agencies are responsible for
the final amounts reported on the SEFA. This data model is only a tool
to review information and is not final until agency certification of the
amounts.

Agencies should review their SEFA information on a periodic basis. These
reviews can really help resolve issues prior to year-end.

If you find any issues with these reports, please do not hesitate to
contact your SARS analyst.

Thanks,
