The Oregon State Controller's Division is hosting a Training on
Management Accounting.  Management Accounting is a discipline of
accounting that has long been neglected by the government accounting
community.  With increasing emphasis on government performance
management, interest is growing in the role and function of management
accounting as an important element in performance measurement and
management in government.  

 

This training session is for government accountants, fiscal analysts,
and budget officers.  Seating is limited so if you are interested, you
need to sign up early.  We are following up with a two-day more detailed
technical program in October.  The training is no cost to state
agencies.
