[CAFR-Contacts-News] Reminder of Soft Close - This Friday

Good Morning CAFR Accountants!

 

This is just a reminder that Friday, August 12, is the soft close date
for FY 2011.

 

Please make every effort to record your year-end accruals and other
adjustments by this Friday. By doing so, it gives your agency a full
week to review and make corrections before the final closing date on
Friday, August 19. 

 

Once FY 2011 has closed (August 19), agencies have an additional week to
finalize the General, Long-term Debt, and SEFA disclosure packages. The
disclosure packages are due to SARS by the close of business on Friday,
August 26.

 

If you have questions or concerns, it is critical that you contact your
SARS analyst right away. Please do not wait.
