Good Morning Everyone,

 

For those agencies that did not attend the year-end close training
yesterday, here is the link to the slides and handouts:

Similar to the 2-day Governmental Accounting training presented in
April, agency accountants can print the PowerPoint slides in the
configuration that best suits their individual needs.

 

The "handouts" package includes 8 different handouts that you can review
first and then decide which ones you need to print:

 

*         R*STARS, Datamart Repository Reports, Statewide Balancing
Reports - FY 2011 Year-end Schedule

*         4 handouts related to SEFA

*         Transfer Comp Objects (used for the Interagency Transactions
presentation)

*         Decision Tree for determining if an agency has a Service
Concession Arrangement (a Public-Private partnership or Public-Public
partnership) - GASB 60

*         Summary of Nonexchange Transactions from OAM 15.35.00.PR (used
in determining year-end accruals)

 

In addition, we have posted an updated summary of the GASB 54 GL
accounts and T-code changes:
