Hello Everyone,

 

The following revised policies have been posted to the OAM:

The effective date is July 1, 2011, except for the policies updated in
Chapter 60 of the OAM. The effective date for those policies is June 30,
2011.

 

For the first four policies listed below, the formerly separate "policy"
and "procedures" sections were combined into a single document. These
same policies were also reviewed for plain language by the DAS
communications unit. 

Our thanks to everyone who responded during the comment period for their
thoughtful suggestions. 

 

All policies were updated for GASB 54, where applicable.

 

Chapter 5 - R*STARS

*         05.20.00 - Fund and Appropriation Structure and Usage

GASB Statement No. 54)

 

Chapter 15 - Accounting and Financial Reporting

(See Appendix A for A Guide for Determining Fund Balance Classification
under GASB Statement No. 54)

 

Chapter 60 - Chart of Accounts

*         60.10.00 - General Ledger Accounts

*         60.20.00 - Comptroller Objects - By Financial Statement
Classification

*         60.30.00 - Comptroller Objects - Numeric (including
definitions)

 

Chapter 70 - Agency Lists

*         70.10.00 - Agencies Current Alpha

*         70.20.00 - Agencies Current Numeric

*         70.30.00 - Agencies Obsolete Alpha

*         70.40.00 - Agencies Obsolete Numeric
