MANAGER OF REPORTING


The Oregon University System (OUS), which is made up of the seven public universities in Oregon, is seeking a Manager of Reporting to take responsibility for the preparation of the OUS Annual Financial Report.  This position offers a unique opportunity to start from the ground up with the implementation of a new software application, Cognos Controller, which will be used to consolidate the financial statements for the seven universities.   *   Preparation of the OUS Annual Financial Report*
  *   Report writer and back up administrator for Cognos Controller application
  *   Assists in preparation and delivery of GAAP training
  *   Provides guidance and coordinates work with external auditors for the annual financial audit
  *   Assists in responding to other Systemwide financial reporting requests
  *   Performs research and training and advises in the development of accounting and reporting policies and practices in accordance with GAAP and statutory requirements
  *   Supports campus accounting and reporting needs for unique accounting transactions, accreditation financial reports and other requests relating to the audited financial statements

Salary:  $65,000 and up (depending on applicable experience and qualifications) plus a comprehensive benefits package.
