[CAFR-Contacts-News] Overview of Uniform Guidance for Federal Awards

Hello CAFR Contacts,

SARS is pleased to announce a training it is offering regarding the upcoming Uniform Guidance for Federal Awards, which is sometimes referred to as the new "Super Circular", on Wednesday, October 22, from 9:00 - 10:00 am at the Employment Auditorium, located at 875 Union Street NE in Salem.  The Uniform Guidance for Federal Awards is the result of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) consolidating and updating eight existing circulars (A-87, A-133, etc.) into a single set of guidance for federal awards.  This training will cover the structure of the Uniform Guidance, the effective dates, in addition to providing an overview of the changes.

Please note that a portion of the Uniform Guidance goes into effect on December 26, 2014, so if your agency receives or expends federal awards, your agency will need to be aware of these developments.
