[CAFR-Contacts-News] Accounts Receivable Training Opportunity

DAS Statewide Accounting and Reporting Services and the Oregon Department of Justice (DOJ) are hosting a training on the Accounts Receivable (AR) process. This event will provide accounting staff an overview of the accounts receivable process from the time an account becomes an AR to its end of life. This training will focus on the specifics of the AR process as described in the Oregon Accounting Manual and assist agency accountants in preparing for their year-end closing processes. Time will be spent focusing on determining Allowance for Doubtful Accounts and also deciding when it is time to Write-Off an account using the approved criteria from DOJ.
