Hello CAFR Contacts,

It's the time of year when new SARS analysts are introduced and agency (re)assignments are announced.  Star Thomson and Monique Fawver took promotional opportunities with other agencies which resulted in SARS having two new Accounting Analysts from last year, although one of them, Karen Williams, is a name many of you are familiar with, as she previously was SARS' Statewide Accountant.  Karen has been with SARS for 8 years and she is very knowledgeable about our processes and procedures. Karen has done great work for SARS in the years she has been part of the team and I'm very excited that she has this new opportunity. The other new Accounting Analyst is Joseph Flager. Joseph is a CPA, with a Masters in Accounting from the University of Utah. Prior to joining SARS, he worked as a State Auditor for the Oregon Secretary of State Audits Division for 3 years and a public accountant for 5 years.
