This training is now available on iLearn, and is titled Federal Award Risk Analysis. Keywords are Federal, Uniform Guidance, Grant, and Risk.

As mentioned below, this training is intended for anyone involved in grant management and monitoring along with accounting personnel. This training will provide a brief overview of the general requirements of Uniform Guidance, but the primary focus will be an in-depth demonstration of a risk assessment tool using a variety of circumstances as agency may face. This risk assessment tool was developed to inform the monitoring process and document compliance with the applicable sections of Uniform Guidance. The customizable risk assessment tool will be made available to agencies.

Speakers will be from ODOT, DHS/OHA, ODE, ODFW, and DAS.

Hello CAFR Contacts,

On behalf of representatives from ODOT, DHS/OHA, ODE, ODFW, and DAS, I'm pleased to announce a training on federal award risk assessments of subrecipients in compliance with Uniform Guidance which has been scheduled for Wednesday, April 5 from 9:00 - 11:00 at the Employment Department Auditorium.

This training will be up on iLearn in the coming weeks, but in the meantime, please add this training to your calendars.  This training is intended for anyone involved in grant management and monitoring, as well as accounting personnel. Please forward this announcement to anyone you think would benefit from this training.

The training is sponsored by the Professional Development and Training subcommittee of the Financial Leadership Council (FLC). The FLC is a consortium of accounting managers throughout state government seeking to collaborate, share best practice information, participate in policy development, and address evolving accounting trends.
