[OregonBuys: Oregon is getting a new eprocurement system]

Project update

We're excited to share the project's progress for October with you. Our work this month included developing system usage guidelines for the enterprise. The Project Advisory Council and Steering Committee will help finalize these guidelines. We also started developing a plan for how state agencies will be placed into the waves of project Phase 2. We'll share more information as soon as the plan is finished.

Lastly, we want to thank everyone who responded to the recent procurement data collection survey. Your feedback was critical to our project planning and we appreciate your participation.

Supplier outreach started

[business man on cellphone]Our vendor, Periscope Holdings, is now actively engaging with suppliers asking them to register in OregonBuys. Every supplier needs an account to continue doing business with the state after ORPIN is replaced. Additionally, Statewide Price Agreement holders will be asked to upload their inventory catalogs into the system. These catalogs will allow state agencies to shop the Price Agreements online in the new OregonBuys Marketplace.
