Happy Monday! We hope you all had a safe and restful weekend. Please keep letting us know how we can assist you, and if there are any particular topics or questions you'd like to be addressed. Here's today's update:

Duplication of Benefits Frequently Asked Questions (FEMA): FEMA's Grant Programs Directorate has created the attached Duplication of Benefits Frequently Asked Questions to help Federal grant recipients and subrecipients better understand this prohibited activity. These FAQs provide answers and examples to common duplication of benefits related questions and scenarios, including multiple grant source funding, cost sharing, best practices to prevent a duplication, and when and how to report one. For further guidance on a specific grant program, please contact the applicable program analyst, preparedness officer, or grants management specialist within FEMA or other appropriate agency. For information about FEMA grants, please visit https://www.fema.gov/grants.

FEMA PA GM/GP update: The latest updates to GM and GP were completed over the weekend. The sprint release included things like streamlined project application enhancements, amendment enhancements, customer service, and obligation enhancements, as outlined in the Release 6/Sprint 6.8 Summary Notes (see attached). This guidance document can be found by clicking your name in the top right corner and select "Release Notes" and download the release notes.
