In light of the Governor's recent order on COVID-19, the April 7 GASB 87 Leases Training is canceled. SARS will be evaluating alternatives to provide GASB 87 Leases Training to state agency staff responsible for implementing the new lease reporting standards. Stay tuned for more information.

SARS is pleased to announce registration for the GASB 87, Leases training is now available in iLearn<https://ilearn.oregon.gov/ContentDetails.aspx?id=0EC4740F25974129A5E9070C87114944>!

SARS will provide an overview of GASB statement 87 which establishes a single model for lease accounting based on the foundational principle that leases are financings of the right to use an underlying asset. The course content includes: an overview of the new lease reporting standards and examples to assist agencies with implementation efforts.
