Project update

We're excited to share our hard work on project planning documents has paid off! DAS Enterprise Information Services (EIS) gave us our Stage Gate 3 endorsement. In turn, we issued notice to proceed (NTP) to Periscope Holdings, and also obtained the steering committee's approval on the project's preliminary baseline schedule.

Getting these approvals allows us to now begin executing Phase 1 of this two-phased project – which is to replace the Oregon Procurement Information Network (ORPIN).  We're on target to replace ORPIN in April 2021, and when we transition, you'll begin using OregonBuys in the same ways that you use ORPIN today.

Over the next few months, we'll be working on key ORPIN replacement activities, including:

  *   Migrating price agreements
  *   Making enterprise guidance decisions
  *   Finalizing the enterprise configuration test plan
  *   Agency data collection
  *   Configuring agencies
  *   Data uploads
  *   Testing
  *   Training
