Good afternoon.

In anticipation of new federal reporting requirements associated with the American Rescue Plan Act, SARS created State Fund Group 2124 entitled American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 to facilitate ease in tracking related moneys.

Agency responsibility
State agencies that receive new or additional funds associated with the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) should create a new SFMA D23 Fund Profile that includes reference to State Fund Group 2124. New PCA profiles will be necessary as well as grant reporting profile requirements as referenced in OAM 15.42.00<https://www.oregon.gov/das/financial/acctng/documents/15.42.00.pdf>, where applicable.

Good afternoon,

With the recently passed American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), SARS and SFMS have set up a State Fund Group profile (D39) in SFMA to report activity involving ARPA moneys, similar to what was done with State Fund Group 2020 for the CARES Act. The State Fund Group for ARPA is 2124, coinciding with the calendar years in which ARPA begins and ends, and it is active in SFMA.

More specific implementation information will be coming next week but I wanted to be on agencies' radars.
