Hi Diane and Barry,

Attached is a flier for a presentation by Eric Martin and others about prescription pain killers and heroin. It will be held on Oct 2 at 6pm at the VA Auditorium. If this information could be sent out on your lists that would be great. It is for community members who are interested in learning more about the risks of abusing painkillers and how to make the community safer.



The Opiate Task Force from the Up2UsNow Coalition to prevent child abuse and neglect invites the community to a presentation by Eric Martin, an expert in addiction science and treatment, at the VA Auditorium on October 2 at 6pm. It is a free event that we are inviting community members to attend in order to learn more about the risk of prescription pain killer addiction, how people addicted to these drugs are at increased risk of addiction to heroin, and what we can do in our homes and the community to reduce the risk to our youth and community members.
