Subject: Differential Response Positions

While we all are acutely aware of the hiring freeze to address our state's budget, due to extraordinary workload demand we have been granted permission through the DHS request for exception to the hiring freeze. As such, we are very fortunate to announce two Child Welfare positions to work in the area of Differential Response. Differential response is a design for child welfare intervention that allows for more than one way of responding to reports of suspected child abuse or neglect. While every family receives a comprehensive assessment when contacted by our agency, differential response allows for greater flexibility in responding, allowing for an earlier and more collaborative process for addressing families' needs.

Thank You,
