The forms that you can access from
<http://www.test.oregon.gov/forms/ContentRequestForm.htm>
http://www.test.oregon.gov/forms/ContentRequestForm.htm will enable agencies
to submit information for the Oregon.gov homepage.

 

Feature Story: The first form is a request for information to be posted as a
feature story to the Oregon.gov homepage. This form can be used now and will
continue to be used when we move over to the new Oregon.gov. 

A feature story is a brief story about a service or program that is both
timely and of interest to the general public. Unlike breaking news stories
that may have a shelf life of a single day, a feature story contains more
substantive information that can be posted on Oregon.gov for several days to
a few weeks at time.

Popularity Box: After the new Oregon.gov is released, the second form will
be used to request a popularity box be posted to the homepage. The new
Oregon.gov will have the capacity for several popularity boxes. The
information contained in the boxes will again be an agency's top news or
events. 

 

Unlike a feature story, a popularity box will contain a couple of lines with
an option to link out to another page. Once the new Oregon.gov is launched,
we expect a period of time during which there will be some agencies that
have not yet migrated their content and therefore would not be able to
create a popularity box. In those situations, the DAS/Director's Office will
build the box once we receive the content for the popularity box,.

 

After you submit your information, the State e-Governance Team will process
the requests. We'll get back to you if we have any follow-up questions.
