Let's finally kick off the new year! 
LUNCH: Wednesday, Feb. 4 
TIME/PLACE: Willamette University's Cat Cavern dining room 
Lunch starts at 11:30 with meeting and program at noon. 
PROGRAM: What's the role of community relations and marketing of our local
hospital, especially in light of the "national health care crisis?" Our
speaker and discussion leader is Patrick Devlin, Director of Marketing and
Community Relations for Salem Hospital. Come for an inside peak at how the
hospital is reaching out.

Please reply to spriem at osba.org to make reservations by Friday, Jan. 30 by 5
p.m. for the Feb. 4 luncheon. Reply with your name and whether you are
"lunch" or "program only" AND if you're a member/nonmember. You can also
call Shannon Priem at 503-588-2800. 

If you find at the last minute that you can attend the meeting but don't
have a lunch reservation that's okay! Bring your own lunch or buy a sandwich
at the Cat Cavern Grill on the second floor. 

COST: Lunch for members: $10; non-members: $12; if you don't purchase the
catered lunch: $5 program fee. 

IMPORTANT: No-shows will be billed unless you cancel before the Friday
deadline or send a substitute. 

Oregon Capital Chapter PRSA monthly meetings are held the first Wednesday at
Willamette University in the Putnam University Center--a large, square
building located in the south-central part of the campus. Non-members are
welcome! Forward this message to others who might be interested. 

Free parking is available off Winter Street next to the Atkinson Graduate
School. Metered spaces are available on State Street. Once in the University
Center, take the stairs or elevator to the second floor to the Cat Cavern
dining room on the left wall.
