I am pleased to announce that Scott Smith has been selected to lead
Oregon's E-government initiative as the E-government Program Manager. 

 

Scott's work as the Director of Operations for IRMD over the course of
the last year, his leadership in the area of Business Continuity
Planning, and his vision and collaborative model in resetting the
E-government program has brought him to the forefront in Oregon's
technology community. Scott's accomplishments while working in several
governmental arenas have further prepared him to work and lead at the
enterprise level.

 

Oregon's E-government program is the single most important enterprise
initiative through which new electronic capabilities can be introduced
into the business of state government. These capabilities will be
critical in addressing the Governor's objectives for efficiency and
effectiveness in state government. 

 

Scott looks forward to working collaboratively with agencies on the many
opportunities that the E-government initiative presents.
