Colleagues,

It is with mixed emotions that I send this email.  I have accepted an
offer to become News Director at WPRO radio.  It's a well-known
news/information station in Providence, Rhode Island and I'm hoping I
can help keep its great tradition going strong.

I'm excited about the opportunity to return to my "news roots" but sad
to leave all of you.  It's truly been my pleasure to work alongside you
and have a front row seat when it comes to seeing the effort and
dedication that goes in to being a state employee.  I only hope I came
close to reaching the bar you've set.   

Thank you for making me feel part of the state "family".  I will start
my new job July 1st.  My last day here at DAS will be Tuesday, June
20th.
