Oregon State Library is pleased to add Associated Press Stylebook 2006

to its online resources for state employee use.

 

 

Product Description:

The AP Stylebook is professionally recognized as an essential writer's
guide for reporters and others.   It provides facts and references for
reporters as well as defining standard usage, spelling, and grammar for
editors. There are separate sections for journalists specializing in
sports and business, and complete guidelines for how to write photo
captions, file copy over the wire, proofread text, handle copyrights,
and avoid libel.

 

How to Access:

Go to the State Employee Information Center web site:
http://library.state.or.us <http://library.state.or.us/>   and click on
the link, Databases. Locate the Styleguide either alphabetically or by
the subject category, Books & Journals.  Log-in using your library user
name and password.  

 

If you do not have your library user name and password click on
http://library.state.or.us/register to register online.
