Initiated by Salem Mayor Taylor, and with support from Willamette
University, Salem Hospital, Salem Area Transit District, Marion County,
Oregon state government, Salem-Keizer School District, and
representatives from the arts community, Salem Vision 2020 has begun to
generate excitement and ideas for enhancing Salem's city center,
including:
* Walking/biking trails that wind their way along local streams
and the Willamette River
* A frequent and reliable transportation service to transport
city center visitors from parking garages to shops, restaurants,
government offices, parks and offices
* An outdoor theater and music program, public art, new housing
opportunities in the city center, and more!

the area's boundary as well as information about housing, employment,
traffic, parks/trails, and more please visit:
