Governor to Test Drive Think Electric Vehicle
(Salem) - Governor Ted Kulongoski tomorrow will test drive a Think
all-electric vehicle. Think, an electric vehicle maker based in Norway,
has plans to site a manufacturing and technical center facility in North
America. Oregon is competing against several states.
Following the test drive, Think North America CEO Richard Canny will
formally announce the company's interest in Oregon. The Governor will
speak to steps the Legislature can take this session to better position
Oregon in the nation-wide competition for these jobs.

Governor will begin the test drive at 11:45 a.m.
Press conference will begin at 12:00 p.m.
Media also will have an opportunity to test
drive the vehicle after the press conference.
