Hi, Everyone.
Here's your reminder that the April meeting of the State Communications
Council will occur this Friday, on April 9, at DAS West Conference Room
A (9-10:30 a.m.).
This one promises to be an important and interesting meeting. Our state
E-Government Program Manager, Wally Rogers, will present a three-pronged
briefing that covers the big changes coming in the management, content
and maintenance of state government's Web presence. Wally will also
describe the workshops that the Department of Justice and DAS will host
in May and June, which will cover social networking media and related
legal issues. And lastly, he will discuss the "state-friendly" user
agreements that the National Association of State CIOs have negotiated
with the major providers.
These are all important issues that will affect your agency directly.
You'll have an opportunity to ask questions and offer your thoughts on
these and other issues.
We look forward to seeing you!
