Governor to Hold Press Conference on Federal Energy Grant
Following press conference the governor will welcome members of 41st
brigade home
(Salem) - Governor Kulongoski tomorrow will be joined by City of
Portland Mayor Adams and U.S. Department of Energy Official Gil Sperling
to discuss the $20 million federal energy grant announced today by the
White House that will fund the new Clean Energy Works Oregon program.
Following the Governor's address, he will attend a demobilization
ceremony for Oregon National Guard members returning home from a
10-month deployment in Iraq.
