Education Agenda Moving


Governor Kitzhaber applauds  Subcommittee’s passage of Senate Bill 909 and other education bills.

 

(SALEM, Ore.) — Governor Kitzhaber issued the following statement after the Joint Ways and Means Capital Construction subcommittee’s passage of Senate Bill 909, creating the Oregon Education Investment Board, and other education bills:
 
“Moving forward on improving education takes bold leadership,” said Governor Kitzhaber. “We need to change Oregon’s public education system to deliver better results for students and more resources for teachers by passing key priorities, like SB 909.”
