Communications Council members,

Fariborz Pakseresht, Oregon Youth Authority, today shared the attached
document with the Enterprise Leadership Team. There have been many
conversations lately about the integral role of communications in state
government; Ann Snyder, who developed this document, has done an
excellent job outlining that role.

If you choose to use this information as a template for your agency,
please note that the first, second and fourth sections are generic,
whereas the third section is mission-specific and would require
modification. If you decide to distribute a similar document to your
agency's constituents and stakeholders outside state government, please
forward a copy to me for our office's records.

And if you have a comparable document to share with the comm.-council,
feel free to reply to the listserv or send the document to me and I will
forward to the group.

Thank you.
