[Ctegrants] New Grant Opportunity - Adaptive Math Technology

We are pleased to offer this notification concerning the Math Adaptive Learning Pilots Grant. The Oregon STEM Council in collaboration with the Oregon Department of Education (ODE) intends to conduct a series of pilot tests of math adaptive learning technologies in Oregon classrooms grades K to 8. An adaptive learning technology is software that can personalize education for a student, adapt based on student interaction, and provide feedback to teachers about student progress. Funds will be awarded to schools to pilot previously identified math adaptive learning technologies.
Here are some facts you need to know about the status of this work and your involvement with it.
* The RFP for this pilot project will be posted no later than April 1st at http://www.ode.state.or.us/search/page/?id=3602 .
* Districts will be asked to identify 2-3 products to pilot during the 2016-17 school year. Successful applicants may receive up to $20,000 per student cohort piloting each product.
* For those who wish to begin reviewing provider information, details can be found at https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B9YVAhoVs6bFUFI4YnNJRGlfRlU. Please begin by reading the READ ME FIRST document.
* All questions and comments about individual products should be directed to the providers, as they will be best positioned to discuss their products and how they may apply in your particular learning environment.
