It is great to see all the interest in the CTE Revitalization Grant. I will be out of the office for the next two weeks. If you have questions related to that grant, please contact Gabby Nunley (gabby.nunley at ode.state.or.us<mailto:gabby.nunley at ode.state.or.us>) for a timely response during those two weeks. Here are several updates to the CTE Revitalization Grant and another grant opportunity related to CTE.

Technical Assistance Webinars

We are posting the webinar recordings and slides on the following page as they become available.

The next webinar on equity on Strategies to Include Underserved Students is scheduled for September 20. You can register at

The final webinar on grant submission has been moved closer to the application deadline and is now scheduled for October 4. You can register at

Request for Reviewers

We are looking for volunteer CTE Revitalization Grant reviewers. If you are interested in reviewing grants please complete the online form at the link below. The form includes information on the commitments a reviewer must make to be considered. Association with a grant application does not disqualify someone from reviewing. No reviewer will be asked to review grants they worked on. We need reviewers from business, industry, labor, trades, and education.

Other Grant Resources

The Oregon Community Foundation has released an RFP for Career Connected Learning. These grants are for STEM Hubs or Hub-like entities in regions where there is no STEM Hub. There are implementation grants from $25,000 to $75,000 per year and one-year planning grants for $20,000. If you are interested in Career Connected Learning and would like to work with a STEM Hub on a grant project you can find contact information for each STEM Hub at http://stemoregon.org/ Details about the grant can be found at https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B9YVAhoVs6bFNXZlZHJEUmFjVEU
