Prevention staff throughout Oregon have experienced the transition from the Addictions and Mental Health Division to the Public Health Division in varied ways. The Addiction Prevention Section's Learning Committee recognized these different experiences, and over the past few months has been developing two web conferences designed to empower us with tools to navigate the changes successfully. The first, "The Resolution Diamond", addresses theories and practices which are aligned with the larger effort to increase Trauma-Informed Care throughout Oregon (see flyer for more information). The content from this training can also be applied to our work with community partners and to our personal lives. The second web conference is still under development and will be focused more on strategic planning among prevention professionals.

The Resolution Diamond web conference will be accessible via telephone call-in (this is a toll call) and/or computer as well as "host sites" throughout the state. The training is heavily reliant on a visual model, therefore, computer viewing of the conference is recommended. The first 22 people to login to the conference will have voice access, and after that participants may provide input by using the online Chat feature.  Once you register for the webinar, the phone number and web conference link will be provided.  Also, a CEU certificate will be provided for participants.
